Today I got home to find that a plastic bag, containing a dishevelled Christmas card, had been delivered.
On closer inspection, it seemed that the envelope was open on three sides (rather neatly open in fact). When I opened the card I discovered that the £10 note my Great Aunt had kindly enclosed was still in situ!
Pretty impressive really.
[I also had a card from my parents today. Not sure when that started happening. Surely they don’t need to send a Christmas card to their daughter who they’ll be spending Christmas with?]
Listen love, it’s the thought that counts. I will not have you diss Ma & Pa Clutterbuck.
Honestly, the kids of nowadays…
